![]() ![]() YouTube is still going to encode it yet again after you upload it, but if you do a quality encode yourself to a lower the bitrate, the quality won't be affected as much when YouTube does theirs. Then encode it again using the slowest encoding setting and 2-pass that you can tolerate, and lower the bitrate to something below 10,000. Try capturing at whatever very high quality bitrate you want, then use something like XMedia Recode to upscale it to 3840x2160 59.94hz, keeping the bitrate high. The biggest issue is that if you're uploading a video (of any resolution) to YouTube at 80,000 bitrate, the YT algorithm is going to compress the absolute hell out of it, and it does it at uber-break-neck speed too, which results in tons of compression artifacts. You can capture it in whatever bitrate you want, as long as the framerate stays constant during fast motion and it doesn't bog down. It's just awful by the time that it reaches YT. I know it is golf, but I don't want to muck up a football video which can be more demanding. You can view the difference in the last two golf videos on my YT channel here. I am rendering at the higher 1440p setting so YT thinks it is better than 1080p but need to do more testing with that to see if that is the issue or not, but need your feedback. I need some feedback as to what may be the issue here. I put the finished product from YT up on my 52" tv and there seems to be little difference and in some respects the old 720p looks a little better. ![]() I purchased an IPS 1080p monitor to capture my videos in and it just doesn't seem to be doing that much better than my old screen captured in 720p. ![]()
